Krillion Infinite FAQ

Short answer first: Krillion Infinite resets at midnight your local time, every day, with a fresh set of 7 prompts. Everything else players ask — reset times, scoring, replays, accounts — is answered below.

The reset, in one paragraph

Your daily dive is tied to your own clock. Play any time between 00:00 and 23:59 and it counts for that day; at midnight the prompts change for everyone, your streak rolls forward if you played, and yesterday's dive joins the archive with its full answers published on its own page.

When does Krillion Infinite reset?

Krillion Infinite resets at midnight, your local time. At 00:00 a new daily dive begins: a fresh set of 7 prompts, the same for every player that day, and yesterday's dive moves to the archive. If you finish a dive at 11:58 pm, your streak counts for that day; the next dive you play after midnight counts for the new day.

What time does the new daily dive appear?

The new dive appears at 00:00 local time — there is no separate server release time to wait for. If the game still shows yesterday's dive just after midnight, refresh the page once and the new prompts will load.

Is Krillion Infinite free to play?

Yes — completely free, with no account, no download, and no paywalled modes. The daily dive, Unlimited, Marathon, challenges, and every category pack are all free, forever.

How many prompts are in the game?

The prompt bank holds 330 prompts, each with its own set of accepted answers ranked by rarity. The daily dive deals 7 of them; Unlimited and Marathon deal fresh sets from the full bank, and each category pack draws from its own shelf of the bank.

How many prompts do I get per dive?

A standard dive — daily, Unlimited, or challenge — has 7 prompts, with 25 seconds to answer each one. Marathon mode stretches a single dive to 21 prompts.

How does scoring work?

Every accepted answer belongs to a rarity tier. Plankton (the answer everyone gives) scores 10 points, Too Clever 15, Schooler 30, Rare 60, Deep Cut 85, and One in a Krillion 100. Every point also sinks you 10 metres, so a perfect 700-point dive reaches the 7,000m trench floor. The full table is on the scoring page.

What does “One in a Krillion” mean?

It is the rarest tier in the game — the single hardest accepted answer on a prompt, worth 100 points. The phrase plays on “one in a million”: a krillion is the game's joking name for a number so big that an answer this rare is effectively one in a krillion.

Can I play yesterday's dive, or replay an old one?

The daily dive itself is one shot per day, but old dives are not lost: yesterday's prompts and answers live on the Yesterday page, every past day is kept in the archive, and you can replay the feel of any old dive in Unlimited mode. The blog explains all the options for playing old games.

Do I need an account? Where is my progress saved?

No account is needed. Your streak, dives played, average, and best score are kept in your browser's local storage on this device. Clearing browser data resets them — they never leave your device, and we never see them.

Why was my answer rejected when it sounds right?

The game matches against a fixed answer bank for each prompt — answers a real crowd would plausibly give, ranked by how rare they are. A correct-but-unlisted answer cannot score, because its rarity was never measured. Near-misses and typos get a correction prompt: the game shows the answer it thinks you meant, and you submit again to confirm.

Is Krillion Infinite affiliated with krillion.io?

No. Krillion Infinite is an independent fan game inspired by rarity-trivia games. It is not affiliated with krillion.io, and every prompt and answer on this site is original to this site.
