The Krillion Infinite bank holds 330 prompts and 3,884 accepted answers — an average of 11.8 answers per prompt. Every prompt has at least one One in a Krillion answer, 328 of the 330 have exactly two, and the bank's rarest tier holds 658 answers in total. The smallest ladder has 7 answers, the largest 25, and every answer belongs to one of six fixed tiers, from Plankton at 10 points to One in a Krillion at 100.

Eight shelves hold 302 prompts: geography, food, movies, sports, science and animals with 38 prompts each, and history and music with 37 each. The remaining 28 prompts are general — open prompts with no shelf, like “Name something sold in stick form” or “Name a device made to blow air” — the bank's wild cards. By answers, the general shelf is actually the deepest at 488 answers, ahead of science (457), animals (456) and history and music (444 each); movies is the shallowest shelf at 388 answers.

The tiers are roughly even by design — the bank is not a pyramid with a tiny tip, but a ladder with deep water at every rung. That evenness is why a dive's score depends on which rung you reach, not on whether the prompt happened to have a rare answer at all: every prompt has one.

A standard dive is 7 prompts, so a perfect dive is 700 points — seven One in a Krillion answers — and since every point sinks you 10 metres, 700 points is the 7,000m trench floor. Marathon stretches the same arithmetic to 21 prompts and a 2,100-point ceiling. And because every prompt carries its own One in a Krillion answer, the trench is never out of reach on a technicality: the rarest answer is always in the ladder, waiting one shelf further than the crowd looks.
