Under the clock, your first instinct here is the Plankton answer — it is first for a reason. The scoring lives further down the list: skip your first two ideas, picture the category from an unusual angle (a different country, decade, species, or use than the obvious one), and you are fishing in Rare and Deep Cut water. If the clock hits five seconds with nothing better, submit the safe answer — a Schooler in hand beats a timeout every time.
Prompts in the science shelf of the bank reward breadth more than trivia depth: the rarest answers are rarely the hardest facts, they are the valid answers the crowd's habits skip. That is why this page exists — seeing the tail of one prompt teaches you the shape of every prompt like it.
